Today marks Day 1 of our successful Migration onto Dedicated Hardware for The Iron Nexus servers.

We're opening the doors on our Website here as well, which is ready for production though still being tweaked to suit our needs and standards.

With our new Hardware we're introducing a few features:

1. Better Restarts!
   Now our Restarts come with better warning and include a Save right before shut-down!
2. Rule Gated community
   You'll need to accept our rules in order to play with us. This means linking your character to our website and accepting our Rules here to continue to play with us. This means no more excuses "I didn't know the rules!"
   To accept our rules you'll need to do the following:
   

   1. Request connect code in-game​

   Type !getconnectcode in-game with the account you want to connect to another Steam, Epic etc account. As a security measure you need to type !getconnectcode twice.

   

   2. Go to Settings page on Community website​

   Navigate to the Community website and enter the code in the Connect accounts sections.

   Done!​

   The in-game player account is now connected to the account logged in on the Community website.

3. Dynamic and Automated Updates
   When there is an update for the server, a mod, or anything of the sort the server will automatically detect this and schedule a restart to ensure it's always up-to-date!
   This includes a Warning, a Save Game and finally a restart to obtain the latest updates.
4. Fancy new notifications in-game!
   The server will now automatically greet you, give you notices and communicate more clearly using notifications that will appear in your top-right corner of your screen HUD.
5. Automated & Integrated Shop!
   Gone are the days where you have to open a ticket to get your shop purchases! This is all automated now!
   Now you can even shop from directly in-game! Use your Radial wheel to access the GSA option and take a look at all the fancy new options made available.
6. Server Voting, Playtime Rewards and Reward Shop
   We're now listed for Server Voting!
   You can help support and promote us by voting for our server(s) and receive a Thank You reward of Tokens that can be used in our Reward Shop!
   You'll also get Tokens just for being active and playing with us!
7. Cluster Ready!
   We've already got the chat ready to go as seen from the Discord yesterday, this is already prepared and set to go when we add in more servers down the line too! Communicate with our Server and your Friends from anywhere regardless of in-game map or at work!
   We've also already got "a server" ready to go for when Scorched Earth drops! Our new Hardware can run several servers at a time without having to wait on a shared machine's available space later down the line!

A few changes to note:

1. Current Subscriptions
   These will be automatically cancelled. You will still keep your benefits until the end of the billing period however, so any Discord access won't be removed until it would need to be renewed.
   Since we are shifting to a new shop system we feel it only fair that we cancel your existing subscriptions with our previous shop system.
   If you still wish to provide Subscription support you can do so by visiting our Shop on-site here. We promise it's even more painless than before! You'll get your monthly rewards auto-magically and without having to put in an annoying Ticket.
2. Discord Changes
   We'll be retiring some of the Channels on Discord in favor of shifting these things over to our website.
   You may have noticed some of the Discord channels have already been removed and alternatives can be found on our Website's forums or other locations around site.
   We're looking into viable options to centralize most communication long-term to our website. While Discord is GREAT, it is not conducive to long-term, organized use for certain subjects. It's like trying to handle important information and data via Text Messages, it works but it's just not great.
